Event Sales Specialist – Full-Time; Boston

This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the service standards of Winston Flowers by providing excellent service during initial inquiry, develop client proposals as needed in support of wedding and event collection sales
  • Manage independent pipeline of new business and close event sales in support of the overall event collection sales budget; effectively manage existing client relationships
  • Develop relationships with key partners to continuously promote the Winston Flowers wedding and event floral collections
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to strategize and implement best practices and standards to provide a consistent and exemplary client experience
  • Participate in design consultations, on-site installations, and other special projects as business needs require

Candidate Attributes:

  • 2+ years of sales and account management experience is required in the event, hospitality, or catering industry, with a focus on weddings, social and corporate events
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the proven ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs by utilizing a consultative approach
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve established goals and deliver on high expectations with exceptional follow-through skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously and resolve issues independently, as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (primarily MS Excel and Word) is required


  • Full-time position; core schedule will be Tuesday – Saturday with flexibility required to meet business needs
  • Peak business periods will require extended workdays and work weeks
