Go Green This Spring

Looking for something fresh for your space? We asked our Garden Design team to choose their favorite plants to bring spring's feel-good vibes to your home.

Take a look below for their top picks.

Indoor plants

Bring Spring Inside

Calathea

With over 300 species of calathea plants, you're certain to find one to complement your decor. These light-loving plants absorb sunlight quickly, resulting in their signature bright green leaves.

Austral Gem Fern

Marked by glossy dark green foliage, the lovely austral gem fern looks delicate and feathery but is surprisingly durable—perfect for those with a not-so-green thumb.

Bulb Flowers

Every spring, daffodils are among the first blooms to make an appearance. We love their light fragrance paired with textural pussy willows in a charming planter.

Outdoor plants

From left to right: Heather, Pansy, and Blue Fescue Grass

Energize Your Outdoors

Heather

Comprised of small needles that bloom soft pink or white flowers, the hardy and durable heather plant adds striking texture to a garden or container planter.

Pansy

This classic spring flower comes in a variety of colors with telltale markings on each delicate bloom. They can withstand light snow, thus are ideal for temperamental Northeast springs.

Blue Fescue Grass

This low, mound-shaped grass shows off a striking blue-green color. Ever adaptable, blue fescue prefers cool, early spring temperatures along with full sun, but will tolerate partial shade as well.
